New Delhi, September 25: L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has partnered with industrial AI company Cognite to develop and deliver AI and data solutions for asset-intensive industries globally. Through its Sustainability segment, LTTS will combine its engineering and manufacturing expertise with Cognite’s industrial AI and data capabilities. The partnership will focus on sectors including oil and gas, chemicals, LNG, consumer goods, mining and industrial manufacturing.
As part of the collaboration, LTTS has established a dedicated Cognite Center of Excellence and certified an initial group of more than 50 engineers. The two companies are also developing industry-specific solutions for customers. The partnership will focus on accelerating the use of AI-powered industrial applications, digital twins, predictive maintenance and operational intelligence platforms across asset-intensive businesses.
LTTS said the collaboration will also expand its Engineering Intelligence portfolio by integrating Cognite’s Industrial AI capabilities with its EIOne platform.
“As industries increasingly look to scale AI beyond experimentation, the need for connected and contextual industrial workflows has become critical,” LTTS CEO and Managing Director Amit Chadha said. He added that the partnership would help enterprises move AI projects from pilot stages to production while improving productivity, asset performance and operational resilience.
