New Delhi, September 4: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s memoir ‘Belonging: A Journey of Love’ will be published by HarperCollins after Penguin Random House India withdrew from publishing the book. HarperCollins said the memoir will be published in India on November 10, 2026.
“One of the most anticipated political memoirs of our time, Belonging is a dramatic and deeply personal story of love, identity, duty and belonging, and offers a rare insider’s view of India’s journey,” HarperCollins said in a social media post.
The much-awaited memoir is expected to cover Sonia Gandhi’s childhood in Italy, her marriage into the Nehru-Gandhi family, the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and her entry into politics. The book has already triggered a major political controversy ahead of its international publication.
