New Delhi, September 4: OpenAI has introduced GPT-6 Astra, describing it as the world’s most intelligent and aligned model. According to OpenAI, GPT-6 Astra brings together years of research and major advances in pre-training, reinforcement learning and alignment. The model is state-of-the-art in computer use, browsing, software engineering, cybersecurity, science and professional work.
Astra scored 98% on FrontierMath Tier 4, with OpenAI saying it has already helped solve long-standing open problems in mathematics. It also scored 99.9% on ARC-AGI-3 and 100% on ExploitBench. The company said Astra also sets a new benchmark in computer and browser use, allowing it to handle demanding professional tasks with speed, accuracy and judgment.
GPT-6 Astra is being rolled out to a limited set of organisations initially. Over the coming days, it will become available to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users, as well as through the OpenAI API, Microsoft Azure and AWS Bedrock.
