Google Pics Rolling Out For AI Pro, Ultra Subscribers And Workspace Customers

Google is rolling out Google Pics, its new image creation and editing tool for Google Workspace, to all Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and most Workspace business customers over the coming weeks.

New Delhi, September 4: Google is rolling out Google Pics, its new image creation and editing tool for Google Workspace, to all Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and most Workspace business customers over the coming weeks. Built on Google’s Nano Banana image generation and editing model, Pics is designed to help users create and edit images for a range of purposes, including designing posters, creating social media posts and editing digital illustrations.

Google Pics will be available as a standalone product and will also be integrated into Workspace apps, starting with Slides, Docs and Drive. This will allow users to create and edit images directly within the apps they are already working on.

The tool comes with a set of fine-tuned editing capabilities aimed at giving users greater control over their images. These include object segmentation, in-image text editing and translation, as well as the ability to collaborate with others.
